At Four Sisters, we know there is power in the backcountry; there is adventure, health, peace and beauty that live there. Yet, it may not be the easiest place to venture into given health issues, young kids, necessary gear, etc. We dreamt of helping ANYONE get into the mountains. After encountering pack llamas on a family camping trip, the idea of Four Sisters was born.
Fours sisters offers pack llama rentals to families, backpackers, hunters, anglers and more. If you desire to get into the backcountry, we can help. We also offer drops camps, llama packing courses and trailer/gear rentals. No previous llama experience is needed; we have well trained llamas who have spent their lives packing, and we are also happy to teach you.
Looking for a reliable pack animal for your next outdoor adventure? Our seasoned pack llamas are the perfect solution. With their calm demeanor and ability to carry up to 80 pounds over several miles, they know the trails better than we do. (Drop camps also available)
Our llama packing course is perfect for new renters or anyone interested in learning about llamas. The course includes lessons on haltering, saddling, packing, and general llama husbandry, and is required for all new renters.
We offer trailer rentals if needed. All llama rentals come with included saddles, halters, and panniers to make your trip as comfortable as possible.
